Programme Background

Mitsubishi Electric has always been committed to innovative technology and environmental protection. To nurture this creative and tech-savvy generation and promote green living, Mitsubishi Electric (Hong Kong) collaborated with La Violet Education, a social enterprise dedicated to creative teaching, to launch the programme “Green Living Starter” since the year of 2019-2020.

This project provides a series of activities integrating the concept of Design Thinking to raise students’ interests and participations in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics) learning and green living.

Following the success of the first phase of the program, we are delighted to continue to launch the second phase in 2020-2021. There have been 10 secondary schools engaged in the programme since launched in 2019.
