Cheung Sze Chai (left) is a corporate communications co-ordinator at Mitsubishi Electric (Hong Kong) Limited. She is responsible for co-ordinating advertising and PR activities, as well as assisting in launching and participating in CSR activities with external organisations. She also provides support to Mitsubishi Electric (China) Co., Ltd. and Mitsubishi Electric in Japan for corporate advertising activities.

Today, she went to a cha chaan teng (literally “tea restaurant”), a Hong Kong-style diner, for lunch with her colleagues. The restaurant is located in Sai Wan Ho, which is a ten-minute walk from the office.

She chose the beef curry rice with Hong Kong-style milk tea. This particular drink is very popular in Hong Kong. She and her colleagues enjoyed a nice chat over the delicious and reasonably priced food.

She usually brings her own lunch from home and eats with her colleagues in the office’s common space, where staff members can enjoy their lunch together. On Fridays, however, she treats herself to lunch in anticipation of the weekend. Most of the time, she opts for tasty and budget-friendly meals at a cha chaan teng or a fast-food restaurant.
