Matthieu Belkis (left) is a product manager at the French Branch of Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. He is in charge of sales forecasts, product management and technical support. His fellow colleague and lunch partner of the day, Julie Sciascia (right), is a general accountant mainly in charge of treasury functions, following all bank transactions and producing reports and forecasts.
Today, they went to a traditional French restaurant for some typical Eastern French cuisine. The restaurant (bistro) is located near their office.
Matthieu enjoyed a delicious plate of Choucroute (dressed sauerkraut), although he himself admits it was rather heavy for lunch. Julie had the dish of the day, red mullet, and topped off her meal with a cup of gourmet coffee along with a dessert.
Julie usually eats with her colleagues at the company canteen, but likes to go out occasionally to try out different restaurants and dishes, as well as to meet up with other colleagues. Matthieu on the other hand likes to change it up a bit more, rotating between taking a packed lunch, or eating at the company canteen or restaurants, depending on how he feels that day.
